How it works
Reading is open to anyone. Writing takes an account. Only your display name is shown publicly.
Find the exact location
Search by name or address and pick the exact location. Not listed? Suggest it and Replio adds it.
Share it in text, audio or video
Add the date of your visit and a rating from 1 to 5.
Choose whether to hear back
Tick one box to hear if the business works on your issue. Leave it empty and you hear nothing.
Room for the great visit and the bad one.
When it was great
The dish, the welcome, the person who went out of their way.
The business can pass it to the team or person who earned it. Names stay private.
When it fell short
What went wrong and when. Specifics are what a business can act on.
The business can give it an owner, a next step and a due date, and answer you in public.
Only a business that has claimed its location can do this, and none of it is required.
What can happen after you share
Published after Replio checks it
Every review is checked first. For audio and video, you approve the transcript and captions.
The business responds
A representative Replio has confirmed for that location can reply in public.
Business reports action taken
The business speaking, with its date. It does not mean you agree.
Guest confirms resolution
Or says it is not resolved, or does not answer. Asked once, only if you chose updates.
Not every business takes part, and not every issue is resolved.
The rules, in plain words
Guests confirm their email
A 6 digit code, before anything is published.
Reviews are checked before publication
Replio reads every review first. That checks what it says. It is not proof a visit happened.
Positive and negative follow the same rules
An honest good experience and an honest bad one are held to one standard.
Representatives must verify access before responding
Confirmed by Replio for one specific location. An email alone is not enough.
Payment does not decide moderation or removal
Paying Replio never changes what is published, what is removed, or who may respond.
Your email address stays private
Businesses and the public never see your email address or your real name.
For businesses
Claim your location
Replio confirms your access to that location first.
Respond to guests
Reply in public to reviews of your location.
Recognize praise
Pass a compliment to the team or person who earned it.
Give issues an owner and a next step
Set an owner, a next step and a due date. Report when it is done.
Free to claim and free to respond. Paying Replio never affects moderation or removal.
Questions
Do I need an account?
Not to read. Anyone can read published reviews.
To write one you need an account: your full name and an email address. Replio emails you a 6 digit code to confirm the address. No password needed. Reviews show a display name, which starts as your first name and which you can change. Your full name stays private.
Can I submit audio or video?
Yes. A review can be text, audio or video. Audio can run up to 5 minutes and 25 MB. Video can run up to 2 minutes and 100 MB. A text review is 20 to 4000 characters.
For a recording, Replio writes the transcript and captions, and you approve them before it is published.
When does my review appear?
After Replio checks it. Every review is checked before it is public, so it does not appear the moment you send it. Replio does not promise a time.
An audio or video review also waits for you to approve its transcript and captions. Replio may ask you for changes before a review is published.
Can the business see my email?
No. Businesses and the public never see your email address or your full name. They see your display name and your review.
What if the business has not claimed its location?
Your review can still be published. Nobody can respond for the business until a representative claims the location and Replio confirms their access. Not every business has claimed its location, and not every business responds.
If the business is not listed at all, you can suggest it once you are signed in, and Replio adds it by hand.
Does the business have to pay to respond?
No. Claiming a location and responding are free. Paying Replio never affects moderation, visibility, removal or the right to respond.
What does it mean when a business reports a fix?
It means the business says it completed an action, on the date shown. That is the business speaking. It does not mean the guest agrees.
If you chose updates, you can be asked once whether the issue was resolved. You can answer yes, answer no, or decline. Your answer is shown separately, with its own date. One statement never implies the other.
